The Nélida Piñon library is situated at the Center's office, 80
SW 8th Street, suite 2600 and it is open to the public during office hours. It comprises a collection of
approximate 3,000 books in varied subjects and a multi media collection
of CDs, videos, maps, Brazilian symbols, etc. The books were donated by
the Brazilian Union of Publishers through a campaign organized in Brazil.
The Centro Cultural Library has been providing material for the Portuguese courses at the
Miami Beach High School. This service was
instrumental in enlarging the Portuguese courses in a public Dade County
school and resulted in the creation of a new Portuguese language program
at that school.
The Library is open during office hours.
